Synopsis from commentators I listen to is that Trump says US is winning (false), US has obliterated Iran’s capacity to fight (false), controls Iranian airspace (false), is in negotiations with Iran (false), Iran is the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism (false,that would be Israel and the United States), Iran is working on a nuclear weapon (was false until February 28, 2026 when Israel killed Ayatollah Khamenei who had issued a fatwah decades ago forbidding Iran from building nuclear weapons), and as always, Donald Trump is just great. No acknowledgement of the world-wide upheaval his war for Israel has caused and will continue to cause in terms of economy, food shortages, energy supplies & infrastructure, technological disruptions, and death. Trump claims to want peace in this speech, says war will be over in a few weeks, and in the same speech threatens to bomb Iran back into the stone age. Many commenters remark on how mentally and physically impaired Trump appears. Iranian response to Trump not long in coming: Iran launched wave 90, 3 phase missiles. Destroyed Amazon Data Center in Bahrain. Continues pounding Israel and any Gulf state supporting Israel/US at will, Iranian Foreign Minister affirmed yet again, no negotiations between Iran and US have taken place, neither directly nor indirectly.
April 01,2026: Some 2,000 US sailors stationed in Bahrain were evacuated with no advance notice. They were allowed one kit bag and told to get on the plane. Flown to Norfolk, Virginia in such a rush, there were no quarters in place for them so they’re being put up by local Norfolk families and surrounding communities.

April 8, 2026: Trying to sabotage ceasefire deal based on Iran’s 10-point proposal that was brokered just yesterday by Pakistan between US and Iran, Israeli terrorists bomb Beirut without warning, launched a major bombing campaign in Lebanon, massacring over 300 innocent people with at least 1,165 wounded. Nearly all of them civilians. One of Iran’s 10 key points was that Israel had to stop attacking Lebanon. US/Trump had agreed to this but Netanyahu, who is clearing running US policy in the war now claiming Lebanon was supposed to be part of the ceasefire. Iran responds by closing Strait of Hormuz.

April 9, 2026: How many ways can Israel and the US government destroy ceasefire talks before they start?
* US sends JD Vance to talk ceasefire in Pakistan. Couple things here: On his way to Islamabad, Vance makes a statement at a stopover in Budapest where he claims that the Iranians “misunderstood” that the ceasefire was to include Lebanon. [eg, Iran misunderstood the 10-point plan they themselves wrote].
*Vance called a publicized version of the plan as little more than, “a random yahoo in Iran submitting it to public television.”
*The Iranians don’t want Witkoff and Kushner at the negotiations, since those two already betrayed Iran twice during negotiations, but apparently Vance is bringing them with him.
*White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Iran’s original 10-point plan “was literally thrown in the garbage” by Trump’s team. She also said, “The idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely absurd.”
*JD Vance brought his pregnant wife to the negotiations. (who does that?).
*At the same time Vance was wasting the day in Islamabad, Donald Trump went to a mixed martial arts cage match with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. (Trump was booed by the crowd.)
*Israel sabotaged the peace talks. Where Obama administration negotiated 20 months to achieve nuclear deal with Iran JD Vance ‘negotiated’ one day then left Pakistan in humiliation of the United States. Vance did nothing but push the Israeli agenda. In addition to all its other demands, Israel [which isn’t supposed to be part of the negotiations] is now saying that even if Iran gives up all its enriched uranium, scraps the whole program, and lets in inspectors, that’s not enough because Iran still has the knowledge to start over so Israel demands access to all Iran’s tunnels so they can see what’s there. Iranian negotiators were well prepared, sent their best people. Vance was unprepared, unprofessional and couldn’t answer simple questions without calling for instructions. While he was in Pakistan Vance called Trump 11 times. His calls were monitored by Israeli assets Witkoff and Kushner. Vance also called Israeli PM Netanyahu during this time. In fact, Netanyahu told the Israeli press that Vance “Reported to me in detail, as the whole Trump Administration does every day.”
*In response to Israeli and US claims that Lebanon isn’t part of the ceasefire, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Qalibaf said, “Lebanon and the entire Resistance Axis, as Iran’s allies, form an inseparable part of the ceasefire.” Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sherif “publicly and clearly stressed the Lebanon issue, there is no room for denial and backtracking.” He also warned that “Ceasefire violations carry explicit costs and STRONG response.”
15 April, 2026: Pakistan trying to get US/Iran negotiations that Israel derailed going again. US says negotiations are on. Iran–having been betrayed twice by US during negotiations with Kushner and Witkoff– says it has not agreed to go.
15 April, 2026: In case there was still any doubt the US isn’t serious about peace negotiations, National Embarrassment and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent announces announces “Operation Economic Fury” against Iraqi resistance groups, claiming they’re supported by Iran. Resistance groups are specifically included in the 10-point Iranian proposal, which Donald Trump, two weeks ago, called “a workable basis on which to negotiate.”
19 April, 2026: Another unqualified-for-the-job Trump sycophant, UN Ambassador Mike Waltz, announces “the President is prepared to escalate to deescalate.”
19, 20,21 April, 2026: With the 2-week ‘ceasefire’ due to expire in two days:, 1) first we hear JD Vance would lead a delegation to Pakistan for negotiations with Iran. 2) Then Trump announces JD Vance won’t be going to Pakistan after all. Instead, Trump will send his Jewish son-in law Jared Kushner, and Jewish real estate mogul Steve Witkoff. These are the same two who betrayed Iran twice before by setting up sham negotiations then Israel and US bombed Iran during the negotiations. Iran wants nothing to do with them. 3) Wait, now Vance will go. 4) Wait again, on Tuesday we hear the delegation hasn’t left Washington because Iran still hasn’t agreed to attend. 5) With no off-ramp, and no one to talk with, Trump unilaterally extends cease fire.

US started the war with no strategy and without means to sustain the fight. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been left out of negotiations but keeps aping Israeli demands that are non-starters for Iran. Chas says Iran has put forth 3 proposals:
1) General peace–not a ceasefire–with guarantees that Israel/US won’t attack them again. When that is achieved,

Meanwhile, the US is still blockading Iran which is an act of war and illegal under international law. The blockade is compromising the world’s fertilizer and energy supplies. April 25, 2026: Iranian diplomats leave Pakistan. May 1, 2026: Today it has been 60 days since the United States attacked Iran: Under the War Powers Act of 1973, the President of the United States must notify Congress within 48-hours of putting US military into conflict. Within 60 days of committing US military, the President must get the military out or must get permission from Congress to continue the conflict. Secretary of War Crimes Pete Hegseth is now claiming that, because Trump declared a cease fire on April 7, the clock stopped ticking, so the President doesn’t have to ask Congressional approval. When that falls flat, Trump declares ‘Operation Epic Fury’ is over. Everyone paying attention predicts Trump will restart the war very soon. 11 May, 2026: Short documentary re: Student journalists from Annenberg Media , University of Southern California expose Israeli military medical teams, in conjunction with US Navy, are being trained in a California University using bodies donated to California Universities for science. Bodies used are perfused cadavers ie. not embalmed. As soon as patients are declared dead, their bodies’ circulatory systems are filled with dyed water to resemble blood, and put on a pump to reanimate the corpse. The Israelis claim Spain is picking on them. *Note on CMCC: It is run by US Central Command, (CentCom), staffed by 200 US military personnel, has representatives from dozens of countries and the United Nations, and is completely funded by the US. It’s purpose, supposedly, is to oversee humanitarian aid to Gaza [which Israel is still is still not letting in]. CMCC was put in place on the same day notorious Gaza Humanitarian Foundation was suspended, and the same day Gaza ‘peace deal’ was signed, so the CMCC is nothing more than a Potemkin Village, paid for by US tax payers, to cover for Israel.
11 April, 2026: 40 year-old Irishman climbs on top of a US military C-130 cargo plane that landed at Shannon Airport to refuel and he disabled it by chopping on the wings with a hatchet!! It does make you wonder about priorities when Ireland has enough fuel for American military planes that burn 800 gallons an hour but doesn’t have diesel fuel for its farmers during planting season.

12 April, 2026: Trump calls Iran charging tolls on ships passing through Iranian waters “World Extortion,” “illegal” and vows to interdict vessels that pay tolls to Iran blow up Iranians who try to enforce the tolls etc. —-Worth noting: Turkey charges toll of $5.83/net ton on ships transiting the Bosphorus and Dardanelles Straits. Turks collected $227.4 million in 2024. Is Trump going to bomb Turkey next?
13 April, 2026: An impotent Trump announces he will end Iran’s blockade of Strait of Hormuz by…wait for it…the US Navy blockading ships trying to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz. This is absurd because the Navy has to stay hundreds of sea miles away from Iran to keep from being blown up. US Navy doesn’t have enough ships to cover such a huge expanse of water.
14 April, 2026: Polish MP standing at the podium in front of Parliament describes Israel using weapons that burn thousands of children alive in Gaza. April 21, 2026: Professor Mirandi, who was part of the Iranian negotiating group on April 9, says that Vance was favorable to a deal with the Iranians at that time but before it was signed Vance got a call from Israeli PM Netanyahu who told Vance he couldn’t do the deal.
April 26, 2026: EU airlines cutting flights due to rising fuel costs: Lufthansa (German), Aer Lingus (Ireland), Air France, Norse Atlantic Airways, KLM (Netherlands, Royal Dutch Airlines). Also, Delta and United in the US. And Air Canada. have cut flights.

April 27, 2026: Iranian Foreign Minister Arachi meets in Moscow with Russian FM Sergei Lavrov and President Putin. The President reportedly congratulated Iran for standing up for National Sovereignty [which goes back to the Treaty of Westphalia in 1648 and which is incorporated into the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Charter.
April 28, 2026: King Charles of the UK visits US. He was criticized in England for making the trip during Trump’s war mongering and support of Gaza genocide. On the day Charles speaks to Congress, the UK Ambassador to the US says the US doesn’t have a special relationship with the UK. The US has one special relationship and that is with Israel.
13 May 2026: Israeli contestant to Eurovision booed again this year. People in the audience chant ‘Free Palestine” and ‘Stop the Genocide’. Most analysts say Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar won’t let US use their air space or bases to attack Iran (because Iran would retaliate against them). Apparently Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who went on the China trip, is sanctioned from going to China because of past criticisms so they changed his name. The Chinese character which would normally be used would be analogous to rupee but instead they used a character meaning ‘rude’ or ‘crass’.
